Tour Finale

The Tour Finale is the last Fairway 2 Heaven tournament of the season. It represents the end to six grueling months of battling mental clarity, physical toughness, and verbal retributions. There will be nothing given on this finale, everything is merely earned. From the 8-inch bogey putt to the ‘Horseshit’ participation award, whatever said player receives is what they have rightfully earned. In contrast, this Finale will provide peak circumstances that include joyous entertainment unlike any other, humorous moments which will bring one to tears, and relationships bonded to gentlemen of the sport that will last a lifetime. This tournament is a time to become one with nature, a time to reach into the deepest valleys to find ones inner peace, a time where the only person that can step up is the one looking in mirror, and a time where victory will reign only after the final putt is made. This is what we live for, the moments we strive for, and the memories we long to make. The Fairway 2 Heaven Tour Committee hopes to see you there!

The Tournament will consist of Five rounds of Golf. Please pace yourself as this is a lot of golf for most people! Round 1 is only a practice round. Rounds 2, 3, and 4 are formatted in two versus two matchups to create the Ryder cup style. These three rounds will be finished on Sunday afternoon and the winning Ryder cup team will be crowned champion team of the year. Monday, however, is the Fairway 2 Heaven Tour Championship. All golfers will compete individually as they have done throughout the season with their given handicaps. The winner of this golf tournament will be named the F2H Tour Champion of the Year. Handicaps will be calculated the same as prior tournaments, the only change is if someone has played in 6 or less tournaments throughout the year, their handicap will be based on the average of their two best scores of the year (best score if it is 4 or less).                                                                                                       (Example: Joe played five tournaments and shot 82-84-86-88-90… his handicap will be equivalent to shooting an 83 ((82+84)/2)) or 11 handicap. If he only played in 4 rounds, his handicap would be 10 since 82 was his best score.)

The fee for the golf trip will be $650.00 for the five rounds of Golf. That is the only cost allowed, if you cannot play all five rounds, the up-front cost still must be met – no exceptions. Rooms, Food, and Travel are NOT covered, so please plan accordingly. The golf will be played in Pawley’s Plantation – 30 minutes south of Myrtle Beach, therefore, please book something relatively close. The due date to let Luke J. know is June 30 and the final due date to pay is July 31. Wives / significant others are encouraged to come be a part of the amazing adventure. There are many activities in the area for them to stay occupied, however, please do be courteous to other golfers if you plan to bring them on the golf course at any point during the trip. Just FYI, there will be an extra charge ($30-50) each time they ride.
